The Devil Is Busy
We give the enemy far too much credit. When we have a rough week or folks start Crip walking on our last nerve, we’re quick to say, “The devil is busy.” I get it and I’ve even said this myself. Maybe we’re thinking about 1 Peter 5:8, which tells us that the devil is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for anyone he can devour. We place too much focus on the latter part of this verse. The beginning of this verse give us an imperative as a warning and as encouragement: “Be sober!
